As with all
materials which you use, maintenance to your shears
is very important. If you maintain
your shears regularly, the life span of
your shears will extend and the pleasure of cutting
will raise.
If you spend a
couple of minutes a week
time on your material, you will
have more pleasure of your
material.
How to maintain my scissor?
* After you finished cutting at night, clean the
scissor with a dry cloth and remove the hair from the
scissor.
Also possible care products which you have used are
removed this way.
* Oil the scissor on regular bases between the cutting
blades, where the screw is placed (minimum 1x
a week). This way the scissor will keep
cutting smoothly and hair-rests around the screw will be removed.
* Adjust the screw when necessary. If the screw is not
well adjusted, there is a chance the scissor will not
function properly (the scissor will not
cut the hair or the cutting blades can cut into each other, which
cause damages).
* Have your scissor conditioned in time. If you cut
too long with a scissor, unnecessary damage can occur.
We advise you to have your scissor
conditioned once a year.
* Also remove the (plastic) finger rings regurarly to
remove possible residue of care products. Some
chemical products can damage the metal.
Kyone scissors:
Always return your shears to the Kyone Service Centre
(or to your distributor). Our people are
specialized in conditioning and reparing the shears.
Annually our people visit several factories to
learn new techniques and maintain ( and improve) old
techniques.
Please keep in mind!
You get complete guarantee on your Kyone shears if
these are in maintenance at our Service Center.
If you have your Kyone shears serviced outside our Service Center, all
guarantee conditions will expire immediately and Kyone consider themselves
no longer responsible for damage that can exist.
